The new Mini Dental Implant technology offers a simple and affordable approach.The mini dental implant or MDI is used to retain and stabilize dentures and is extremely effective in this function. The MDI is much smaller and thinner than conventional implants and so requires very little bone to support it. It is also self-tapping which means that it will screw itself into the bone after a small pilot hole has been made. The mini dental implant surgery is also less invasive, takes less time, and heals faster No surgery is required to place the MDI, simply a little local anaesthetic and the implant goes straight through the gum and fixes into the bone.
